My first night with my new mistress

June 25th 2009 was a sad day for me. First, Micheal Jackson passed away. Micheal Jackson (August 29, 1958 - June 25, 2009) Then, my first mistress was official pronounced dead. After mourning for 3 days, I moved on with my life and got myself a new mistress. While I am writing this, she is sitting beside me, patiently waiting for me in her elegant black dress. While she tries her best to look interested in...

One month backpacking in India - Part 3

A traveler once told me, it would take 2 lifetimes to finish visiting India. Since I only have 1 month, I decided to take full advantage of the limited time I had by going on a grand tour of India. The journey was so grand that it took me from the south to the north, from the baking desert plain of Rajasthan to the freezing snow capped mountain of the Himalayan, from the beaches of the heritage Goa to the spiritually...

One month backpacking in India - Part 2

Rupees Rupees Rupees! If you think you cannot afford to backpack for one whole month in India, then I have good news for you; backpacking in India is damn cheap. Guess how much I spent in whole India for 33 days? No prize for guessing though. Come on… you can guess it. How much? Around RM5,000? Not even half of that. The grand total is merely INR 32,946 or around RM2,400 or less than RM73 per day! Not...

One month backpacking in India - Part 1

If you have one month to spare and looking for some cheap thrills in your mundane life, I would strongly recommend backpacking in India. This is what I did from 21st March 2009 to 22nd April 2009. During my travel, I came across many travelers from all around the world such as America, Europe, Africa, Australia, Japan, South Korea, China and even Thailand. However, none from my own country, Malaysia. When I...

A visit to the most bizarre museum

When I was in Manipal, India; the place where Esther is studying, I visited a museum in her campus. The museum is suppose to be educational for the students but for me, it is the most bizarre museum I have ever visited. Before you read any further, I would like to warn you that this post contains disturbing images of human body parts, fetuses and other stuffs that maybe too gross, sensitive or controversial...

My first snow is in India

Staying in Malaysia for my whole life, I always wonder how does snow feels like. I finally felt it today in India. To be specific, in Manali, somewhere in the state of Himachal Pradesh.  Never I expect my first experience with snow is in India. So how does it feels like? Well, it’s like a huge bowl of ais kacang without the syrup and the nuts. No, I did not make any snowman but I did try to make snow angel,...

Sun burn or dirt?

Look at my feet… I thought it was dirt. After scrubing them, they just won’t come off. That’s how dark I get after 1 week in India. It’s funny to see the locals are getting fairer and I am getting darker as I moved up north. By the time I reach Punjab, I should be as dark as the locals.

I am in India

I am sorry for the lack of update. As some of you may have know, I am currently traveling in India for the first time. It is very hard to get connected in India and blogging is the least of my priorities right now. I came here 2 weeks ago by AirAsia (Again! I hope AirAsia can at least give me a special reward for being their faithful customer). The only flight that AirAsia has to India is from KL to Trichy....

Vientiane, Asia’s French city (Day 14 - Day 16)

After 2 weeks, I have finally reached my destination; Vientiane and I still have 1 full day to explore the city before I fly back to Malaysia. When I reached Vientiane from Vang Vieng by van (40,000 kips), it was already 4 pm. The van dropped me at Setthathirat Road. This is the focal point of Vientiane where most guest houses concentrated. After searching for a place to stay for few hours, I finally decided...
