Petrol price up and its consequences

Jun 05

WTF??!! Petrol price up again? Some more up by 78 cents! $#%@*!@^* The G keep on asking us to change lifestyle. But I say better change the G!

Yes, I’m really pissed off with this sudden huge increase. You see, even though the price does not directly effected me because…

  1. I rarely drive. My last year petrol consumption was merely RM1,580 (823 litre). One thing good about working at home.
  2. I drive the cheap and lousy Malaysian made car and the G promised to give RM625 back to me every year.

After I do the calculation (Assuming I consume the same amount of petrol this year)…

RM2.70/litre x 823 litre = RM2,222
RM2,222 – RM625 = RM1,597

Yeah, I know. I’m lucky. But I still suffer the consequences like everybody else. With this increase, everything will be more pricier. I’m talking about electricity, food, transportation, etc… Generally, cost of living will increase tremendously after this. Inflation definitely shoot up.

What will happen after this? Crime rate will go up. When crime rate go up, people will feel stress and blood pressure will go up. When blood pressure go up, your medical bill will go up. When health care become expensive, then more people will die younger.

Maybe I should get involve in health care business?

Hopefully with this increase, the air will be cleaner with lesser car on the road and push the development and implementation of clean renewable energy such as solar energy… but I still have to say this…

Anwar, when are you going to take down that fella?
