I know my blog is successful when…

1. Everyone wants to be the first to drop a silly comment such as “I’m first!” on every entry I post.
2. The job title on my namecard has the word “Blogger” in it.
3. I am forced to host my blog on a dedicated server
4. My blog address is in Kennysia’s blogroll.
5. I have my own column in The Star.
6. My blog is in Technorati Top 100 blogs list.
7. Interviewed by most mainstream media in the World.
8. I am invited as feature guest in all blogger gatherings/parties.
9. Travel the world for months and when I reach home, heap of checks from advertisers and affiliate program waiting for me to cash in.
10. My feedburner readers count is 4 figures (NOT figure 4!).

Honestly, if I blog solely for above reasons, I would have given up my blog long time ago. However, it would be great to achieve all above (or just half of it) so that I know my passion is shared by many people.

   do ur own style, do not follow nicole’s style.
   she is a female, u r not.
   so good contents is wat u need.

   no need to admire how famous is other ppl’s blog. be proud of ur own blog as it is something that u build up urself.

   Hi Garfield,

   Thanks for visiting and your feedback.

   I admit it. I read Nicole’s blog and I think she is hot.

   She and many other bloggers did inspired me. However, I’m not sure what do u mean by following nicole’s style. I love traveling among many other things and I hope by sharing my travel experience will help a fellow traveler in future. If you read other travel blogs, you will see that all of them are nicole’s style.

   Anyway, thanks for your advice.

   However, I don’t think it is wrong to admire. Even though we are proud with our own blog, but we must learn how to be humble at the same time. Only then we can learn and accept good qualities of other person.

   Just to let you know, I blogged long before Kenny Sia or Nicole did. 2003 to be exact - http://www.who.is/whois-com/ip-address/benleow.com/. This is the latest version of my blog. The old one has been discontinued and archived somewhere due to reason of my own.

   the style i mean is the way of attract ppl to read.
   i found that those scenery photo that u have are very nice.
   this will be the attraction of ur blog.

   i like the pictures u have anyway.

   yeah, i agree, it is not wrong to admire other ppl. but to run our own blog, we should have something special that other ppl dun have. example, the nice scenery photos u have.
