Friendster spam from my friends

Suddenly, I received messages from most of my friends in my Friendster account. I thought, wow, they all miss me. But when I open up the message, damn! It was one of those spam message.

I first received this type of spam on 5th July 2008 and they all carry either one of these subjects…

  1. New friendster App
  2. Hi All
  3. Hola!
  4. Hey
  5. Hey buddy
  6. Letting you know…

and the content looks almost like this…

When I checked with my friends, they all deny sending it and they all don’t know how it came from their account. So I brought this matter to Frienster and this is the reply I received…

    hi, i actually got the same thing last night.

    its weird because it came from my ex boyfriend whom i NEVER speak to anymore.

    if you find out how that happened please share!
