All you need to do are feed, caress and repeat the chant “BA, bababababa…..” as many times as possible to a group of wild boar. Yes, you hear me right. A GROUP OF WILD BOAR. It is known that caressing wild boars at Om Sakthi Sri Jada Muneesvarar Alayam Indian temple in Taiping (see location map) will transfer good luck to the person. The wild boars will only appear at dusk and disappear into the wood at around 10pm. You may caress any wild boar at your reach, but it is believed that the bigger the wild boar, the more luck it has. So try to persuade the biggest wild boar you can see by calling out the chant with food extended to its direction. If it doesn’t response to that, try speak like a wild boar. Caress it slowly, beginning from the head until you reach its back. You may use both hands. The longer you perform this ritual, the more luck you will get. After gaining all the luck you need, you can gamble as much as you can afford on nombor ekor. According to the temple’s caretaker, this get rich method is proven to be affective for more than 20 years!

…or at least this is what all the “puak kiau kui” or god ghost of gamblers wanted to hear. It is mind blowing to see so many people still believe in such superstitious practice in this modern age. If it is so effective, I wonder why Genting, Magnum 4D, Damacai or Sports Toto are still going strong until today. Maybe uncle Lim and all the bosses are regular devotees of that temple.
