Goodbye 2008, Hello 2009
I must say 2008 has been a wonderful year for me. Even though I did not make any new year resolution, it turned out to be better than I could ever wished for. However, not everything I hoped for materialized. One thing I really hope to achieve last year was to meet my dream girl and make her fall in love with me. Well it still remains something elusive to me. Meeting her is one thing, but making her fall for me is another thing. Nonetheless, I tried to live my single life to the fullest by doing what I like most and simply being myself. Most of the wonderful things happened to me were the result...
Photo from What a bloggiful world gathering
Well remember I said I would be attending a bloggers gathering called “What a bloggiful world“? Well I was there and I had a great time. The food was OK, a lot of freebies and the crowd was great. Couldn’t complain much for a RM10 entrance fee. Anyway here are the photo taken from that day. Let the pictures tell the story. .gallery { margin: auto; } .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 20%; } .gallery img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } Photo...

Don’t worry. You are still in BenLeow.com. I just changed my design. It has new look but still the same old BenLeow.com you always know.
Pak Lah shows middle finger to SUPP
I don’t normally blog about political stuff, but somehow this picture caught my attention in yesterday’s The Star paper. I don’t know about you guys, but don’t you think the conversation between Pak Lah and George Chan went something like this?
What a Bloggiful World
What a wonderful way to meet up with some of my favorite bloggers all at once at the same time. So yes, I’ll be there. Hopefully you will be there too.
A really hot car
The car alarm blaring non-stop in the dead of the night. WTF? I dragged myself up from the bed to check on the cars with my sleepy eyes. OK fine, it’s not any of the cars in the house. It must be the neighbor’s car. Never gave much thought about it, I jumped back into the bed cursing. Not long after that, the alarm stopped and I gave sigh of relieve. Before I drifted back into my dreamland, a small explosion jolted the short lived silence of the night. This time I jumped out from the bed and rushed outside of the house to see what’s going on. To my shock, this is what I see… My...
All I want for Christmas
All I want for Christmas is are… 1. Peace to the World especially Cambodia, Thailand and Laos because I will travel there very soon. 2. Better economy so that I can afford a new netbook, a mobile phone with Wifi and GPS capabilities and eyes surgery so that I can see clearly without depending on spectacles or contact lenses. Well, it is not a very noble Christmas wish but at least it is a honest one. Right?
RM80 Return Flight Tickets
I’m not kidding. Look at this. It could be cheaper. If I don’t check in any baggage, it would cost RM70 only. RM70 is all you need to pay for flights from KL to Manila and back! That is almost 8 hours of flight or 4,932 km of distance in total. Can you believe that? If you still cannot imagine how cheap is RM70, let me put it in perspective; The bus ticket from Penang to Singapore is RM50. The journey takes around 8 hours for a less than 600km journey. If I take bus for 4,932 km, it would cost RM411 or more than 65 hours of bus ride base on the same rate. Full tank of fuel for my...
Free advertisement in Sunday Star
While I was doing the usual “morning stuff”, something unexpected struck me. My company’s banner appear in Sunday Star! It came as a surprise because I never paid for it. Well, it was there because Rockybru.com.my has my banner on his blog and his blog was featured in the paper together with screenshot of his blog. What a great way to start the morning! Isn’t the best thing in life is free? See whether you can spot my banner in the paper.
My short stint with Astro
Career has always been my first priority for the past few years and because of that, I rarely turn on my TV set. That explain why I don’t subscribe to Astro or any cable/satellite TV services. However, Astro came to town (Juru Auto City) last Saturday to held a very grand singing competition’s final called Hua Hee Karaoke 2008. It is not just any singing competition but Hokkien song singing competition that will broadcast via its Hokkien channel called Hua Hee Dai (channel number 333). The reason why I mentioned about this event is not because I’m a big fan of Hokkien song or...
